Addicted to Eve Online? Get some Tips! Some words on Eve Online Missions: If you have played other massively multiplayer games, you know about the drudgery of doing missions, particularly if you have done your second or 3rd character.  You go to the quest giving NPC, you click through the same content screens, and go and kill the same monsters every time.  You complete missions in a linear sequence, and in the end, the entire process loses a lot of replay value.

Eve Online Missions can be good fun and provide a wide selection of experiences.  They can also be last long and give tiny reward.  sometimes you’re able to get some nice items in missions, especially when you mission is to blast some annoying pirates into oblivion.  Those combat oriented quests are called kill-missions and offer the opportunity to hunt NPCs in your personal area with some additional money thrown in.

EVE Online missions are dissimilar - first off, they’re generally nonlinear.  You can go from nearly any mission to nearly any other mission, and it is not quite as linear as in a traditional MMOG.

The most vital tip is get the right ship and fit it.  If you are going to be doing plenty of Eve Online fighting missions, of course you should be taking a look at ships that have bonuses to weapons and defensive talents.  If you believe transport is more like it, then ships with a bonus to cargo space should be on the head of your list.  As for fittings, weapons and defensive modules ( upgrades ) will naturally work best for fighting.  There are upgrades that may increase your cargo space and speed. EVE Online Hints

Saturday, December 26th, 2009

Are you addicted to EVE Online? All the online RPGs have an element of personality development that is crucial for surviving in environments most particularly the tougher areas as the game progresses.  Developing the character generally involves the process of grinding which is largely getting as much experience as practicable to level up quickly.  Building your EVE Online ability is rather different though because EVE Online skill doesn’t employ an experience point system .

Sadly for current players there is not much of an in game EVE Online ISK Guide.  You get a basic top level view of what it is which is composed of it being money, and that’s it.  While this is all you have to know there’s so very much more.  The standard of currency in EVE is named ISK, it’s not an acronym, and it’s simply its name.  ISK is used to buy everything in the EVE internet world.

Any user created corporations, facilities, stations, and groups need money to function.  Cash in the EVE universe is called ISK.  You want cash to maintain your ship, buy new weapons, talents, and perform upkeep on your station if you own one.  There are plenty of tactics to get money from ore mining to bounty hunting, but what if you’re a business man?  The EVE marketplace works just like every other marketplace in reality.

In trading, you must have ISK to make ISK.  If you do not have a lot an ISK to start with, you can trade, but it will take you some time to make more ISK.  While mining or missioning could make ISK quicker, you might do either of those till you make some capital to speculate in trading.

The most typical EVE Online ore is Veldspar ore.  Veldspar ore is mined from Veldspar asteroids.  Its value isn’t the best but it’s’s the primary building block of the economy.  2 things to notice about mining that everyone should know.  Number one, asteroid fields respawn each twenty-four hours, but they may drift some kilometers occasionally.
